Two people, including one Lexington Police officer, are with minor injuries following a collision on Man o' War Thursday afternoon.

According to Lexington Police, officers responded to the intersection of Man o' War and Crosby Drive around 4:15 p.m. for reports of a collision. They report that officers were responding to a call with lights and sirens active when an officer was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

Both the driver and the officer were both transported to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The outer loop of Man o' War Boulevard at Crosby Drive is currently shut down due to a vehicle collision involving a police officer.

According to LexWrecks, traffic is being diverted onto Crosby Drive.

Crosby Drive is also shut down at Tanbark Road.

Avoid the area if possible.
