POWELL COUNTY, Ky. — According to the Estill County Tribune, late Friday night a truck hit a tree on Winchester Road in Clay City.
The Clay City Fire Department and Powell County EMS responded around 11 pm to find the driver walking nearby - unharmed.
The cab of the truck was completely severed from the frame, however the driver had no serious injuries.
The road reopened around 12:30 am Saturday.
