HAZARD, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police confirmed Thursday that two arrests have been made in connection to the Tyler North missing person case.

North's former wife Lena Michelle Collet North, 27, and former Leslie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Lewis, 35, both of Manchester, were arrested Wednesday and charged with murder, according to a release issued by KSP.

Family members reported North missing on June 25, 2018. He was last seen near the Cawood Recreation Area off KY 421 by the Leslie-Harlan County line.

North’s truck was found burned on a strip mine off KY 1850 on the Leslie-Clay County line on July 1. No body was ever found.

The case remains under investigation by KSP.
