Police: Maysville man arrested after shooting at Fleming County deputy following a domestic dispute

FLEMINGSBURG, KY. — In a press release Sunday morning, Kentucky State Police said its troopers received a call for help on a domestic dispute.

Before the troopers arrived on the scene, KSP said a Fleming County deputy was already there and that 28-year-old Jesse Pollitt had shot at him.

Police said the Maysville man also shot at others in the area.

According to KSP, none of the bullets hit anyone and Pollitt was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder of a Police Officer, 4th Degree Assault with no visible injury, terroristic threatening, wanton endangerment, and resisting arrest.

Pollitt is currently in the Mason County Detention Center.

The incident is being investigated by Kentucky State Police, Post 8, Morehead.
