(LEX 18) — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andy Beshear spent the day making campaign stops on his #TeamKentucky bus tour. He made visits in Radcliff, Elizabethtown, Campbellsville, Lebanon and Springfield Thursday.

At Harden Coffee in downtown Campbellsville, several dozen people showed up to show their support. Beshear rolled up in a big tour bus along with other democratic candidates vying for statewide offices.

Beshear didn't stray from his campaign message, talking about public education, pensions, healthcare and jobs.

He started off by saying to a cheering crowd, "Are you ready to beat Matt Bevin? Me too!"

This is Beshear's first run for governor. When asked about his republican opponent Governor Matt Bevin getting last minute visits from President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and Dr. Ben Carson,

Beshear didn't appeared worried, "I believe this governor knows he can't get re-elected on his disastrous record of tearing away healthcare, attacking our educators .He's absolutely hiding behind the people knowing he can't get re-elected on his own."

Beshear wrapped up his campaign stops in time for him to go trick or treating with his children.
