FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — President Donald Trump urged governors to dominate the streets where protesting is taking place that are getting out of control, saying he will deploy the military where local officials are unable to control the unrest.

"We have peaceful protests that are going on in the city of Louisville and around Kentucky," said Gov. Beshear.

"There are some individual bad actors that are not connected to these protests that are committing crimes, there are bad actors out there committing crimes when there are no protests.

"I do not believe we have the type of unrest that the President seems to be referring to. To use a terminology like 'dominate' in this situation, I don't think those are appropriate words," Gov. Beshear added.
