HANOVER, Ind. — Transylvania guard Michael Jefferson worked hard to post a career-high 37 points on Wednesday night at Hanover but it wasn't enough to beat the Panthers, 80-70.

Jefferson was 15 of 19 from the field while hitting three of six shots behind the three point line. The junior from Berea also added six rebounds and seven assists in the game. Gabe Schmitt added 14 points and five assists while Zach Larimore chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.
