MOREHEAD, Ky. — Morehead State held Midway way below its average of 93 points per game to beat the other Eagles 107-55.

The Eagles were led by two players coming off the bench. Tomiyah Alford and Alyssa Nieves had 20 points each with Alford adding 7 rebounds. There were six Morehead State players in double figures for the game with Ariel Kirkwood adding 16, 9 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.

Midway was led by Allyson Callahan and Leisa Butler scoring 10 points each. The Eagles of Midway drop to 3-2 on the season.

Morehead State improves to 2-2 and will have a big game on Thursday night. The Eagles travel to Lexington to face No. 13 Kentucky at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.
