LEXINGTON, Ky. — The No. 9 Transylvania women's basketball team won a Heartland Conference game between a battle of unbeaten teams as the Pioneers won 85-68 beating Hanover.
Ashton Woodard led the way with 22 points while hitting four of five shots from behind the three point line. Three other Pioneers were in double figures including Zenoviah Walker who had 18 points and added a career-high eight assists. Shelby Boyle chipped in with 18 points and Kennedi Stacy added 13 points.
The win extends Transy's season high winning streak to 10 games in a row. The Pioneers are now 13-1 overall, 7-0 in the HCAC.
The Pioneers start a difficult stretch in the schedule with five straight games away from home during a six game stretch. It starts with a game on Saturday at Rose-Hulman with tip-off set for 1:00 p.m.
