ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Less than a month after police say someone set fire to three mobile homes at different times, people who live at Ramsey's Trailer Park are still very uneasy. Mt. Vernon Police say they continue to investigate, but no one has been arrested.

LEX 18 spoke to one of the fire victims whose home was the second to burn January 8th. She doesn't sleep well and told us it's taking a toll.

"I just wish they'd catch the person and ease everybody's mind," the victim said.

Authorities say the first fire was set January 2nd, destroying a trailer at the park's entrance. The second fire happened less than a week later followed by the third arson January 15th.

Mt. Vernon police say they suspect the person responsible is familiar with the area. Some who live at the mobile home park agree and wish anyone who knows something will come forward.

LEX 18 obtained 911 calls involving the suspicious fires. One person said they saw someone run into the woods. Other neighbors reported seeing some unfamiliar vehicles in the area around the time of the fires.

If you have information on any of the fires, call Mt. Vernon Police or Kentucky State Police at the London Post.
