Vigil to be held for Justice Ginsburg Saturday

FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — A vigil will be held for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in front of the Franklin County Courthouse on Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m.

Justice Ginsburg passed away Friday after battling pancreatic cancer.

The vigil will include the lighting of candles in honor of Justice Ginsburg, comments from Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip J. Shepherd, songs, and prayer.

The community is encouraged to attend.
