A nice day to pick out your Christmas tree, to string more lights outside, or to do some shopping. If you're heading downtown for the Lexington Christmas Parade you'll need a few festive layers. Sunshine quickly takes over with seasonal highs in the mid to upper 40s. Temperatures will keep combing tomorrow. We'll trade more clouds for an extra 10 degrees added onto the high temperatures; highs will be in the upper 50s to near 60°.

Rain chances will be on the rise tomorrow night into Monday. Next week begins warm and wet followed by a mid-week chill. Temperatures will take a 30-degree behind a cold front that will cross on Monday. The mid-week chill will rival some of the coldest temperatures of the year. Wednesday will begin in the teens and end with a high near 30°. And that's not considering the wind chill. The pattern keeps us chilly and dry through the end of next week.
