Wednesday looks good, we'll see afternoon sunshine and around average highs in the mid 40s. A low across the deep south will throw a round of rain and snow from Tennessee east into the Carolinas and Virginia Thursday, barely missing the Commonwealth. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a few flurries to sprinkles down south Thursday with highs in the upper 30s. There is a slim chance we may see a hint of light snow accumulation at higher elevations of our far southeastern mountain counties. High pressure takes over Friday, it'll be a cold, dry and mostly sunny start to the weekend.
