Enjoy the mostly sunny, dry and near average (highs in the 40s) Monday that's on the way. Low pressure will throw a quick round of rain to snow our way Tuesday morning. Minor to light accumulation is possible on grass & elevated surfaces but mainly at higher elevations along our southeast mountain ridgetops. A wet, slushy commute is possible for some southeastern Kentucky viewers. Beyond that, our soggy winter continues. A significant heavy rain/flood threat is brewing later this week with the heaviest rain Friday-Saturday. We could see a 3" to 5" rainfall setting up somewhere along the Ohio River valley.
