Tuesday morning rain will transition to a rain/snow mix mid to late morning as a cold front slips east. This will give us a fairly wet, overcast and dreary day with the temperature falling from the 40s into the 30s. This isn't a snowfall to get excited about- some in the Bluegrass could see minor to light accumulation mainly on the grass and elevated surfaces. The better chance for an inch or two will stay at higher elevations of our southeastern mountain counties later in the day. Whatever comes down will hang around as we crash to the low 20s overnight. Watch for slick spots on the roads early Wednesday morning, especially southeast.
