5 day rainfall totals via the Kentucky Mesonet top out in the 2" to 3"+ range. These numbers will climb slightly with rain still falling Thursday. Use caution on the roads, a flash flood watch remains in effect through 7 AM and multiple counties are under a flood warning or advisory. Widespread rain will taper off to scattered showers (a few snow showers mixed in north?) this afternoon with chilly highs in the 40s. Colder air follows and that well advertised Valentine's day cold shot is still on the way. Friday and Saturday morning lows will crash to the teens with Friday's highs staying at or below freezing!
