The low that spawned a sprawling winter storm for our neighbors to the north was a solid 2" to 3"+ soaker here in the Commonwealth. As it pulls away Tuesday much colder air wraps in behind it, watch for lingering morning showers & drizzle. With the temperature falling then holding steady around the mid 30s a brief wintry mix (light rain/snow & freezing drizzle) isn't out of the question. Watch for wet, slick roads on your morning commute. Cold air lingers midweek as we slowly dry out, Wednesday will stay in the 30s even with partly sunny skies.
