Our blazing hot late September, early October heat wave finally winds down as a cold front slides southeast Thursday, BUT- we still have a shot at one more record high after a multiday string of them. Highs will top out in the low to mid 90s ahead of the front early this afternoon. The real impact and big time cool down will be realized Friday as highs plummet to seasonable levels, in the low to mid 70s. A beautiful start to the weekend! Rain chances are slim to none Thursday but spike early next week.
