Brace for active midweek weather as a potent system tracks east. We'll see a Wednesday morning round of showers and storms followed by a thin line of cold front fired, gusty showers and strong storms into the afternoon. Watch for locally heavy rain, small hail and a south wind gusting to 30-40 mph. Highs will stay in the 60s but drop to the 50s Thursday as cooler air rushes in behind the departing system. We'll also see extensive clouds, a gusty west wind and wrap around showers keeping it feeling fairly chilly for late April. We'll bounce back quickly with sunshine returning Friday followed by a weekend warm up.
