Scattered Storms Fire Thursday

Active weather is on the rise Thursday! A cool front will spark scattered showers and t-showers, watch for a few strong to severe (wind & hail) storms this afternoon/evening. That boundary will also briefly cut the hot and steamy air with highs in the upper 80s Thursday falling to the mid 80s Friday. We're still set up for a perfect summer pool weekend as high pressure builds in, highs will rise to the upper 80s and low 90s. Hot and dry through early next week! Low pressure off the Gulf Coast will continue to organize and strengthen over the next twenty four hours from a tropical depression to a tropical storm.
