From blazing heat (days in the upper 90s) earlier this week and an incipient drought to this... a slow moving front will fire rounds of strong storms and heavy rain over the next 48 hours but it'll also knock us out of the 90s! Watch for Thursday morning and evening showers and storms with a break in between. The overall severe threat is low but gusty wind, hail and torrential rain leading to localized flash flooding will be possible. Expect highs in the mid 80s Thursday and down to the low 80s Friday.
