It's not the best start to the weekend but it will slowly get better. Expect mostly cloudy skies and showers around Friday, the rain potential is fairly light- more of a nuisance on the roads than a soaker. Expect a few hundredths to a few tenths of an inch tops. The showers will shift east with a cold front later in the day but highs will struggle to hit the upper 40s to low 50s. Sunshine returns Saturday with highs close to average. Clouds build late in the weekend but milder air also works in ahead of Monday's rain chance with highs soaring to the upper 50s to low 60s Sunday-Monday. Enjoy it while you can! An brief but potent Arctic blast is brewing toward the middle of next week.
