Lexington, Ky (LEX 18) – Four-star defensive end JJ Weaver has committed to play for Mark Stoops and Kentucky.
The 240 pound defensive end made his commitment Friday, his birthday, over Cincinnati, Louisville, Miami and Purdue.
Weaver was all-state as a defensive end and tight end this past season at Moore High School in Louisville. He is currently ranked 332nd nationally and ranks 7th in the state. He joins Western Hills’ Wandale Robinson as another 4-star recruit for the 2019 class.
