GREENVILLE, Sc- The start to the game for Kentucky was about as bad as it gets. Actually, scratch that, the end to the half may have been worse as Missouri took a 27-19 lead into the locker room.
The Wildcats trailed 11-2 out of the gate, and eventually went down 15-7 after a quarter. Kentucky was 1-13 from the floor in first quarter which equals 7%.
In quarter number two the Cats began to take care of the basketball and finish around the basket. Kentucky tied it up at 17, but from there it was all Tigers. Missouri went on a 10-2 run to close out the half.
Seven Wildcats scored in the first half. Taylor Murray led the way with five.
