Lexington (LEX 18) – Former Kentucky Guard Tyler Herro was selected 13th overall by the Miami Heat in Thursday’s NBA Draft.
Herro was one of the fan favorites from this past season with his swagger on the court and ability to hit big shots.
He was the ‘Herro’ in Kentucky’s Sweet 16 victory over Houston, hitting a three-pointer with under 30 seconds to play.
Herro averaged 14 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in his lone season at Kentucky. He also shot over 46 percent from the field.
