RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) — Eastern Kentucky football will be in the national spotlight to begin the 2020 college football season.
The Colonels' opening game against Marshall will be televised on ESPN. The game is scheduled for Sept. 5 at 1 p.m.
The game will be the first game of the Walt Wells era at EKU.
Marshall finished 8-5 last season and qualified for a bowl game for the third year in a row. EKU finished 7-5.
