An Eastern Kentucky University football player was chosen as the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year,
The OVC announced this from their Brentwood, Tennessee office Tuesday, according to a press release from EKU.
Aaron Patrick is the 15th OVC Defensive Player of the Year from EKU, others include George Floyd (1980 & 1981), Aaron Jones (1987), David Wilkins (1991), Chad Bratzke (1993), Tony McCombs (1996), Yeremiah Bell (2001) and Spence (2015).
Patrick is a native of Ormond Beach, Florida.
