LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — University of Kentucky football games are going to be a little different this year.

UK Athletics director Mitch Barnhart says Kroger Field will have 12,000 seats available for this season's football games to accommodate social distancing, which is around 20% of the stadium's capacity. Other changes include the requiring of face masks and tailgating will not be allowed outside the stadium. The changes are pending final approval.

There will be 10 seats available in each of the stadium suites.

Barnhart says they will be unveiling opportunities for season ticket holders to get tickets over the next few days.

The plans for winter sports are still being finalized. Barnhart will be meeting with committee members Thursday evening to discuss details.
