Eastern Kentucky Finished the season with a 7-4 record and had hopes of making the FCS Playoffs but the Colonels were left out of the tournament.

There were five teams that made the 24 team field with 7-4 records. So, it appears EKU was one of the final teams left out of the playoffs. Another win could have possibly helped the Colonels make the field.

It was still a move in a positive direction for Mark Elder and his Colonels. In his first season, EKU was 3-8, last year, 4-7 and this year 7-4 with losses to Marshall, Bowling Green, Jacksonville State and Murray State.

Coach Elder will talk about his teams season on Monday.
