RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University soccer player Zoe Aguirre will rejoin Mexico’s U-20 National Team for the Sud Ladies’ Cup May 8-18 in Provence, France.
Aguirre is one of two goalkeepers on the Mexican roster for the tournament.
The Suds Ladies’ Cup is a round-robin tournament contested between U-20 national teams.
Mexico will play Japan on May 8, North Korea on May 10, Haiti on May 12, France on May 15 and Gabon on May 18.
Aguirre was a member of the Mexican National Team at the U-20 World Cup last summer in France.
The native of Corona, California was voted to the OVC All-Newcomer Team and the OVC All-Tournament Team as a freshman at EKU this past fall. She ranked second in the conference with six shutouts, four of which came during league play.
