GEORGETOWN, Ky. — No. 1 Georgetown College had a challenging game with No. 15 Vanguard (Calif.) on Friday night and came away with an 88-73 win.

The game was a part of the Tigers hosting the 26th annual Central Bank Jim Reid Classic. The Tigers built a three point lead at the half but started to pull away thanks to a 16-4 run in the 2nd half.

Jake Ohmer led the way for Georgetown with a game-high 22 points. There were four Tigers in all in double digits. Jacob Conway added 18, Nico Clareth had 13 and Eljay Cowherd finished with 10.

Georgetown is back at home on Tuesday to play Indiana University Southeast at 7:00 pm.
