LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Transylvania womens basketball team has climbed into the top ten of both major polls in Division III basketball.
The Pioneers have moved up a spot to No. 9 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top 25. They are also up four spots to No. 9 in the D3Hoops.com Top 25 poll.
Transy has won nine straight games and they'll get the chance to add to it on Wednesday night when the Pioneers host Hanover at 7:00 in the Clive M. Beck Center. Both teams are undefeated in the Heartland Athletic Conference. Transy currently sits at 12-1 overall, 6-0 in the HCAC.
