LEXINGTON- Ky- Forget the 6-11 record for Ole Miss, the home court advantage for Kentucky, plus the momentum. In SEC play anyone can beat anyone. Especially when you’re without a star Senior.

Maci Morris sat out after feeling pain in her knee prior to the game. Without Kentucky’s sharpshooter, the Wildcats struggled to score in a 55-49 loss. Those 49 points were the lowest this year for the Cats.

Rhyne Howard carried Kentucky, but when you shoot 26% from the floor you won’t win often. Kentucky also shot it 26% from deep at just 6-23 for the game. Ole Miss, on the other hand, shot a tad better at 35%. The loss drops Kentucky to 2-2 in the SEC and 15-3 overall.

The Wildcats now turn their attention to a Thursday night road matchup against the LSU Tigers.
