We've had some strong and severe thunderstorms this afternoon. However, a greater severe weather risk is tonight as a squall line forms ahead of a strong cold front. We have an enhanced risk of severe storms with damaging wind gusts as the primary threat tonight, especially in the hours around midnight. Large hail is also possible from the strongest storms. They will also be vivid lightning producers and can produce locally heavy rainfall. We'll update you with the Maxtrack Live Doppler as needed tonight on LEX 18, on the app and at LEX 18.com
