Brace for a Halloween hit! A strong cold front will spark one more round of showers and t-showers Thursday mainly in the morning in the Bluegrass and shifting east later in the day. A few strong pm storms are possible over far eastern counties. Rushing in behind the front? MUCH colder air! A gusty west wind (30-40 mph) will set us up for a raw afternoon and evening with highs crashing from the low 60s early in the day to the 40s & 30s later. The wind chill overnight will be wicked. Our first widespread freeze is likely Friday morning with lows in the upper 20s.
