After two record setting soggy months earlier this year it's been a bone-dry September! Lexington picked up a trace of rain September 10th (the day we hit triple digits) and has yet to see measurable precipitation (0.01" or more) this month. That could finally change next week as the pattern shifts and.a cold front drops in Monday giving us our best shot at a few showers & storms we've seen in weeks. The relentless heat will also back off. We're in the upper 80s to low 90s Friday through Sunday but will see highs falling to the low to mid 80s next week.
"Summer" Heat and Dry Days this Weekend
But a Pattern Change is Brewing Early Next Week
