Sunshine returns but cold air lingers as our Arctic high slowly tracks east midweek. Expect well below average highs in the upper 30s Wednesday. A dry cold front will cut across the Commonwealth late Thursday, bumping up cloud cover and cranking up a gusty southwest to westerly wind. Highs will stay suppressed, in the 40s the rest of the work week with lows in the 20s.
