We’re tracking a snow potential for mainly southern and especially southeastern Kentucky late Saturday night in to Sunday. Heaviest threat will be south of the Hal Rogers Parkway and south of Lake Cumberland with 1-4″ and more possible above 2500′. Amounts drop quickly north and west. The I-64 corridor may not see much at all from this system.
With the timing starting late Saturday night into Sunday, there may be updates to this forecast which you’ll see on LEX 18 NEWS. If you’re planning on driving to Virginia or the Carolinas starting Saturday afternoon, be advised they will likely see far more snow than we will.
