As Isaias swamps the east coast a cold front slides east and out of here Tuesday sparking a few lingering showers and t-showers, mainly across southeastern counties. In its wake, much drier air and a couple of very nice but unseasonable August days. Lexington's average high in mid September is in the upper 70s. Enjoy it while you can- this weekend looks hotter, muggier and active again.
