A round of showers and strong storms will dive south/southeast across western Kentucky Monday, bypassing the majority of the area. We'll see a bump in cloud cover, mostly to partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and storms possible west, southwest in the afternoon. Expect highs in the upper 70s. High pressure takes over with sunshine, dry weather and highs warming into the low to mid 80s later in the week.
