We have an active weekend inbound as late October reality comes crashing in with a strong cold front Friday into Saturday. Expect another unusually warm day with highs in the upper 70s near 80° but showers and storms will fire this afternoon into Friday evening. A few strong to severe storms with gusty wind will be possible, mainly out west. After that, the temperature tanks with overnight lows dipping to the upper 40s and Saturday's highs struggling to reach the mid to upper 50s. Lingering clouds and a few morning showers will make for a raw day.
