Cranking up the Heat this Weekend

With the Summer Solstice Saturday and Father's Day coming in hot on its heels Sunday it's about time to turn up the heat! We''ll end up partly sunny with a few afternoon/evening showers and storms Friday... highs will edge into the low to mid 80s, getting closer to average. Sunshine takes over Saturday and highs will push to the upper 80s to around 90° south. That heat holds Sunday but watch for scattered showers & storms creeping back in late in the weekend. More widespread showers and storms will develop over multiple days early next week.
