We're stuck in a summer rut this week. Hot, steamy and a daily storm chance. Expect highs in the upper 80s to low 90s through Friday and with muggy air entrenched across the Commonwealth the heat index will keep peaking in the mid to upper 90s. Watch for scattered showers and storms mainly in the afternoon/early evening. They'll be slow movers and will dump heavy rain and may briefly pulse to strong/severe levels.
