The remnants of Sally will swamp the Carolinas Thursday but bypass the Commonwealth. This will be our last warm day (highs on either side of 80°) before we cool down! We'll end up partly sunny with the slighest chance for isolated showers over far southeastern counties. Our first big chill of the season is dropping in for a weekend visit. A Thursday cold front followed by a big Canadian high and a north to northeast wind will keep humidity and highs suppressed... roughly 10°+ below normal Friday through Monday.
