Storms Fire Up Again

Active weather ramps up again midweek as a cold front approaches from the northwest and taps into very warm and muggy air entrenched across the Commonwealth. A few strong to severe storms are possible, mainly late Wednesday afternoon and into the evening. A marginal to slight risk for severe storms ramps up from west to east, expect isolated damaging wind gusts and heavy rain that could lead to brief, localized flash flooding. Highs will stay in the mid to upper 80s.
