We're starting off the work week with near normal highs in the low 80s and plenty of sunshine but get ready for some heat! A September heat wave is on the way with highs peaking in the low to mid 90s midweek, near record levels. A heat advisory is in effect Tuesday for western counties where the heat index will top triple digits. A cool front will drop in this weekend bringing a little relief and a slight chance for a few showers and storms.
