The Great Conjunction of 2020 will happen tonight when Saturn and Jupiter will appear closer together than anytime since the Middle Ages. It won't magnify Jupiter's brightness, but will help it to appear slightly larger than normal. It's not life changing, but it's still pretty cool. Clouds may hamper our view, but great looks at these 2 gas giants will continue past Christmas in the southwestern sky just after sunset.
