Rounds of showers and storms are inbound over the next two days. Bands of heavy rain will result in highly variable totals with 1" to 3" possible and a localized flash flood threat. But the timing of this active weather will set us up for a spectacular Derby and Labor Day weekend as high pressure builds in and sunshine returns. Expect highs in the low to mid 80s Wednesday and Thursday falling to the upper 70s Friday.
