We're about to warm it up around here! Highs surge well above average, into the 60s Thursday thanks to a strong southwest wind and stay there into the weekend. That 10-20 mph wind, low humidity and lots of dead, dry vegetation (leaves) prompts a red flag warning Thursday for high fire danger. Expect plenty of sunshine today, mostly to partly sunny skies Friday and a mostly cloudy Saturday as a front settles south and briefly stalls along the Ohio River. Isolated showers are possible Saturday but we'll see a better chance for scattered showers Sunday night into Monday morning.
