Low pressure formerly known as Tropical Storm Beta will track northeast and clip southeastern Kentucky Thursday. Our best chance for showers will remain along that track. Expect a mostly cloudy afternoon with below average highs on either side of 70°. We're still looking at a weekend spike into the low 80s before the bottom drops out next week with a significant shot of cool air inbound to wrap up September and usher in October.
